Umbilicus (belly button) Reconstruction

This is a very lovely 67 year-old woman who underwent surgery to remove an intra-abdominal tumour, which required the removal of her native umbilicus. A new belly button therefore had to be reconstructed using the surrounding tissue that was available. Below are the results of her surgery.

This young gentleman sustained a traumatic injury to his left thigh, which was complicated by an infection. Once the infection was managed, he was left with a large soft tissue deformity in his left thigh that was causing chafing and irritation. He was also bothered by the appearance of it. He underwent liposuction and an advancement flap reconstruction to correct this deformity.
